Election Results

For anyone that read the post about our little family vote, I just wanted to let you know that we had 4 votes for John McCain and one lonely vote for Obama (I won't mention any names on here), but we appear to have a little liberal amongst us! It was still fun to get the kids involved in the election!

I will save all my not-so-nice comments about the real election results to myself for now! I'm just glad our family got it right! For now, I will continue to pray for the leaders of our country and I will back leaders and elected officials who chose to support worthy and good causes!

Also, I don't have the pics yet, but on election night we were able to attend a little get-together for Brian Martyn at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort. My Brian helped with his campaign and so it was fun to be there with other supporters of his and his family as the first results came in! He did win the race and is now the Pinal County Supervisor! It was a fun way to spend election night!

AMEN to the disappointing election results. This is where we kick in our prayer for our country and leaders, for sure. I was disappointed but I braved the election polls myself and I feel like I did what I could. That is so cute how you all voted, what a great idea! Kayli voted at school. McCain won her classrooms election. Hmmmm, pretty sad that first graders are smarter than our country :) LOL I can be "controversial" in the comments section, right??? MISS YOU LOTS-we're still hanging with family but let's get that playdate together after next week?

So good to hear from you! I know I'll be getting to mesa after thanksgiving...just don't know when yet. The holidays are wonderful but so jam packed full or "wonderful" stuff sometimes its hard to breath! I'll see when we are coming...maybe to amanda rays reception too. I sent a gift because I couldn't make it to her shower, so I hope to make it to her reception. Sometimes Mesa sounds SO far away! :)
